Michelangelo
Michelangelo \ Buonarroti
In this site you can find anything that you have ever wanted to know about Michelangelo. It contains everything from when michelangelo was born up to the day he died, including all his works of art. The site also has links to other websites where you can view other works of art. I learned that 60 years after Michelangelo died his poetry was published. He dedicated some of his poetry to Vittoria Colonna, one of his greatest loves and one of his most intelligent colleagues. Anybody enjoying art or doing research may find this site very usefull.

Entry for page 67 question #9...
The question asked: Where do you find yourself in the seesaw conflict between Apollo and Dionysus? Which side of yourself needs work?
I have a good head on my shoulders, I know what I want in life. I want to be successful, yet I also want to have fun while doing it. I find myself Apollonian in the fact that I have goals in life, I am getting my education and taking steps towards my goals. I also know I am Dionysian too. The Dionysian side of me comes out when, the Apollonian side says "It's time to do homework"...The Dionysian side answers right back saying "See what's going on tonight, go out and have fun and do your homework tomorrow!"
There is a definite struggle going on in my life right now between Apollonian side and the Dionysian side. On one hand I want to do things and be very organized, but I get sidetracked and taken control of by the Dionysian side.
I try everyday to be more apollonian with the things that have to be done. With the rest of my time I would like be dionysian and have fun.
